Tuesday, 13th June 2006:
Although we have enjoyed fine weather recently it isn't always so and the picture above shows Jane at the helm as she steers on our way back from Welford to Fenny Compton earlier in the year. The black oil spots mixed with the rain on the cabin roof have come out of the exhaust and are believed to be a product of 'glazed' cylinder bores due to the engine running too slowly and for too long with cold cylinders.
Back at Fenny Compton!
Having spent a fortnight at Crick for the boat show and a couple of days at Banbury, we are now back at Fenny Compton getting ready for our trip down the Avon and Severn rivers to the Canal & Folk Festival at Saul Junction, Gloucestershire.
