Offered for sale is an unusual British made child's (or ladies) Wrist Watch believed to have been manufactured in 1975. Little more is known about this brand but the watch has a gilded alloy case, approximately 29mm in diameter and a HF 10.5"' pin pallet movement in gilded brass with no jewels. The watch is believed to be in working order and the detailed specification is as follow:

HF 10.5"', pin pallet, gilded brass movement, no jewels, sub seconds at the six.

Gilded light metal (aluminium?) one piece case 29 mm dia., with detachable bezel and 16 mm fixed lugs.

Black face with gilt Arabic numerals and hands.

Notes: Service mark inside case: IC 78/Rt (rep). The gilded case is much brighter than it appears in the scan.

Mechanical watches make the ideal gift - classic appearance and no battery to fade or fail. They do, however, require cleaning and oiling from time to time by a competent watchmaker and although usually good timekeepers, a mechanical watch needs to be wound regularly and the time will occasionally need to be reset.
